The computer is dead. Yup... as a doornail. Two in less than two years. Never again ever an HP product.
Since then, we've lost another family member. My ex's sister passed away unexpectedly. They had all been together at a reunion on Saturday, and she seemed to be having a really great time. She passed away sometime after she went to bed that night. It was quite a shock. Being a part of a huge family has so very many wonderful points, but the losses are very difficult.
Shortly after the funeral, my father started having blood pressure issues. I went to have lunch with him as always and he seemed very confused. When he had no interest in eating I took him back to his room and asked the nurse to look at him. His blood pressure was 220 over 160. Definitely not good. An hour later they were assuring me he was doing better, but in the wee morning hours they transported him to the hospital. He spent a week there, first dealing with the blood pressure, and then the pneumonia he developed while there. He is finally back in the facility where he lives now, and seems to be doing much better, although he looks incredibly thinner.
Needless to say, not a lot of creativity has been going on here.
I have had time to get a bit of doodling in though... remember I told you I was working on a project for all of you amazing followers? Here's a sneak peek...
So... tell me what's been going on with y'all?

I have not been doing much but work and rest. Work is crazy and zaps my energy. My brain needs to recharge when I get home. And Halloween is just around the corner. It's my very FAV so I have to get SOMEthing going quick!!

You are having a hard time lately June - I hope your Dad continues to improve and remember to take care of yourself!
My heart goes out to you, June. Please take care of yourself while you cope with all this stress.
What's happening here? Let's see. We went looking for kitchen blinds and came home with a 9-ft. Christmas tree! I'm ecstatic. We haven't put a tree up for a few years and I've missed it sooo much.
It's artificial with the pre-installed lights and pre-assembled. Only 4 pieces. Now I can't wait for Christmas to come!
