A little blog about the life of a somewhat lost dreamer....looking for my grace in this crazy world.

29 October 2012

And, on top of everything else...

The modem or router is having issues... my service provider is going to be out on Thursday to see if it is them... I would ask what else can go wrong, but I'm afraid to.

So, first, let's share the links from the CraftyBloggers with everyone... and then in the next post I'm going to finish up the reindeer ornament.  So, now to the business at hand...

Oh, my goodness, look at how Eileen has brought together her work and her Mother's for an absolutely gorgeous bracelet... It's lovely Eileen!

Eileen - The Artful Crafter
Eileen used chain maille started by her mother over 50 years ago in this sterling silver Two Generations of Hope bracelet design.

Tammy is knitting...

Crafty Princess Diaries
Tammy reviews a knew knitting book and uses the word "adorable" too many times.

And...OMG... Cherie is re-doing some chairs with Dr. Who Toile... seriously!!!  I so, so, SO need some of that fabric!

Dr. Who Toile Chair Makeover
Cherie uses Dr. Who toile fabric to remake old kitchen chairs.

Cyndi has been reviewing some books... they look good...

 Mixed Media Artist
Cyndi has had the opportunity to review some amazing new fabric and quilting books recently!

And, over at Craftside... they're serving up some cocktails... which I could actually use after the week I've had... I'm going to be checking them out!  Oh, and they are giving away another book... be sure to check that out!

Craftside-A behind-the-scenes peek at our crafty world
This week at Craftside there is a chance to score yourself a copy of the new book Extreme Origami, tutorials on how to paint a pumpkin and bell pepper and draw skeleton hands and feet and a recipe for a "Corpse Reviver Cocktail".

Next up for us... the rest of that reindeer ornament!
