This is a screen shot of a live webcam feed from Decorah, Iowa. That little grey ball of fluff on the lower left side is a baby eagle (technically an eaglet). There is another one keeping warm under the momma, and an egg that has yet to hatch. (Hopefully that will happen any day now.)This is fascinating. Utterly and truly fascinating. If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out (click on the pic)... but be warned, you may not be able to take your eyes off of it either.

While I watched, mom was looking from side to side for something and I imagine her thinking, "Okay dad, where are you? I need a break!" Fascinating.
