The March prompt...

Wow, here we are a week into March already. How is it that time flies faster and faster? It's already time to announce the March Creativity Invitation prompt.

So, I am curious, how many of you journal? You know I have this "thing" for journals. Boy, do I have a thing for journals. What's worse (or maybe better?) is that I have really, REALLY developed a thing for making them. So, of course, since this is so very much on my mind, the prompt this month is about journaling.

Your challenge, should you take it, is to create a page... just one page, for a journal. Use whatever techniques you like (you will find lots of different techniques that I've included on the blog below), and you can make the page whatever size you like... and make it from whatever you like. If you already have a visual journal started, this will fit in perfectly... and if you don't who knows... maybe this will encourage you to begin one.

And, to encourage you even more, all the rest of the month I am going to be sharing my adventures creating a journal from these... I happened to be at the store early this morning buying light bulbs and turned around to see them. They are individual paint chips from the Glidden Brilliance Collection. They measure 3.25 x 5 inches... how perfect is that?

So... who's with me?

Now, remember... there are a whole lot of names and links to blogs on the Creativity Invitation page, and they are all there because I want everyone who is participating to have each other as great resources to bounce ideas from. However, a bunch of those names have not participated in the ten months we have been doing this. If your name is there, but you haven't participated at least once, after this month it will be taken off. Of course, if you do play along and want your name on the page, all you have to do is let me know...

Now... off with everyone to be creative... I am off to have lunch with my beautiful daughter and her dad... she turns 19 tomorrow and it's time to celebrate!

Happy birthday to daughter and her parents!

My stack of magazines to pull pictures out of has grown quite tall so this is a timely challenge.

Awesome process...I love to pick up my pieces on the worktable and glue them down instead of throwing them away...lovely inspiration. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

This is perfect! Guess what I've been working the on the most? Yep! Journaling. I'm taking the Visual Journaling Workshops at Strathmore.com. Strathmore papers has a new product for journaling, and I'm trying out one of them for the second workshop.
