Anyone want to play?

I love to create things, and if you read this blog, you probably do too...I sure can't imagine you're here for the bits of wit and wisdom I dole out...I think creative people enjoy seeing the world from many perspectives...how the colors all look different from different angles and in different lights, how the shadows dance differently across the room from dawn until dusk, how the fabric drapes differently over the edge of a bed or a chair...I also love it when good friends get together and share ideas...so I have an idea...it's an invitation really, should you choose to take me up on it...

I'm issuing an open ended invitation for everyone interested to join in...it's gonna be sort of a loose joining, you can come and go as you please, participating only when you'd like...(how can it get any better than that huh?)

Here's how it goes...and this is subject to change over time as this evolves...

• Anyone who would like to participate is welcome to join in, just send me an email and let me know you want to participate. I'll be listing all of the participants (and links to their blogs if they have one) on a permanent page on my blog. You can sign up any time, and if you ever want to be taken off the list, all you have to do is let me know. If you want to be reminded of the prompt in an email, be sure to let me know, I won't email anyone who doesn't request it.

• The first Monday of each month I will post a topic... a word, or a quote... a color...something, anything...it will be the prompt to (hopefully) inspire. Everyone who wants to participate can take the prompt and interpret it whatever way you want...paint something, write something, create an ATC, do a good deed involving it...whatever YOU choose to do.

• On the first Monday of the next month you post what you did with the prompt for the month on your blog. Email me a link to that post, and on the first Friday of each month I'll create a post on my blog with all of the links that everyone has sent.

THEN...(and here is the really fun part) we all get to visit with each other and see what has been created.

There is no right way, or wrong way, participation is purely for fun...stressing about this is absolutely NOT allowed. This is like forgetting that you are a grown up and going to play in the rain...remember how much fun it is to splash in puddles? I do...I was out splashing in them over the weekend...you cannot feel stressed out (or grown up) when you are splashing in rain puddles! HAVE FUN...that's the only real rule here.
