Well here 2010 is....and I'm already behind. How does this happen? Let's us catch up...
When last we chatted, I made note of a gift that my Big One had made had made my Bonus one. I couldn't post a picture of it then because she might have seen it before, but now that she has it I can share...isn't it just too cute?
I think she really liked it...
Work began again after the holiday break. This has been the view out my window practically every day this week...
It's been so bitterly cold and nasty here they even delayed work on Friday...practically unheard of. Looks like the Old Farmer's Almanac was right about this winter...it predicted a much colder than average winter...
I did finally get the tree down. Today. It's only the 9th, so that's not sooooo bad, right? Here the ornaments are, all wrapped, cushioned and packed away for the year. It amazes me every time I look at them and realize how many hours and hours of work have gone into making them. It's such a lovely thing to be able to deck my tree out with that much love every year...
Now though, I am going to go put on a big ol' pot of pasta fagiloi soup and watch the Wildcats play...and I'm going to share the Artsy Blogger links for the week, my friends have been VERY busy...no procrastination there...enjoy y'all!

Xmas is over and we can look forward to brighter days! FYI we had SNOW flurries in FL this morning, and sleet on the roads. Mostly unheard of! I'm in winter boot camp to stay warm. Also wearing Canadian fleece lined boots... Hang in there. :)
I'm always sadden when we take our tree down. This Christmas came so fast for me and left as fast. The cold is unbarable isn't it?!? Snow is everywhere. Love to head to Florida but they are freezing down there too! Stay warm, Spring is on its way...I hope. God bless. Cathy
PS. I think that is really great you have made your tree ornies.
Our tree is still up and it's starting to brown around the edges. Hubby promised we would take it down tomorrow, but HIS middle name is procrastination, so it's questionable. By the way, you're not the only one behind in 2010 already :) (and I won't tell anyone)
LOL..thank goodness I am not alone in this! Of course, now that the tree is down, that just makes more room for the creative process to muss up the place!
Cathy...I'm SO glad to see you back! I dropped over by you blog and will be back there later to leave a comment or two...just know you are in my thoughts!
Maria, as bad as I hate the snow we have here, I hate it more for you in Florida...it looks brutal down there, I'm hoping we all pull out of this soon!!!
The stocking is just darling. A gift to be treasured. I've been waiting for you to share the outcome of that crafting session with your Big One.
"Hello, my name is Procrastination." You crack me up. And hey, welcome to the club!
P.S. That's a really pretty photo of the rocking chair by the window. The play of light is lovely.
Stopping by to say hi!
